Dixie is the sweetest little fat 35 pound dog in the history of the world. She was an owner surrender because there were way too many dogs and she loves the company of dogs but can be shy of new people. She LOVES to have her ears rubbed and her rear scratched and her belly patted and she really warms up to someone who is gentle and easy with her. She would not make a great dog for a small child just because we don't think she could take the noise or rushing or squealiness of a small kid. She would be OK with older children who understand that she needs patience to adjust to her new home. Dixie is about 5 years old and was shockingly heartworm negative, is spayed, and current on her vaccines. Please come visit this sweet chubby girl today!
